Belt Requirements

Yellow Belt - 30 Hours

Blue Belt - 50 Hours after gaining Yellow Belt

Green Belt - 75 Hours after gaining Blue Belt

Brown Belt - 125 Hours after gaining Green Belt

Black Belt - 175 Hours after gaining Brown Belt

-All level changes require an essay, where both length and substance is determined by Hanshi.

BLACK BELT REQUIREMENTS

2nd Degree - 18 Months after gaining 1st Degree

3rd Degree - 24 Months after gaining 2nd Degree

4th Degree - 36 Months after gaining 3rd Degree

5th Degree - 36 Months after gaining 4th Degree

6th Degree - 48 Months after gaining 5th Degree

=All requirements are final unless waived by Hanshi
